In our last series, we addressed several of the features and enhancements in the latest version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (formerly Navision). As you hopefully learned, Microsoft Dynamics NAV software sets itself apart from the rest of the business software solutions in its class. Where traditional business solutions are passive, backward-looking “systems of record”, Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a proactive, agile business system. Today’s business world has become increasingly complex and businesses need technology that helps them anticipate business changes, rather than simply react to them.
One way to establish business success is to align people, assets, systems and data in order to maximize results. Microsoft Dynamics NAV does this by connecting people to their work, surfacing insights that enable better decision-making, and guiding processes that produce optimal results. Companies who use agile software such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV are empowered to adapt with the changes in a growing marketplace.
Over the course of our business experience we have continually advocated that software is a tool to leverage your business expertise; to deliver the customer experience you want. Even more, we believe that you should not “see” the software; you should “see” your business processes. This means providing software that is intuitive and natural to use. Software that enables you to expand your business understanding, easily and naturally. That is one of the reasons we chose Microsoft NAV some years ago. We will discuss this further in our third blog in this series.
Stay tuned for the next article in our series regarding the future challenges facing today’s businesses and how software can evolve to empower companies for greater success, predict potential issues and opportunities, and enable businesses to expand the possibilities for competitive advantage.
